One of the biggest revenues for clubs comes in shirt sales, and it appears that Middlesbrough are trying to make the most from their limited edition third shirt.
The Championship outfit unveiled the strip on Saturday afternoon and fans were able to purchase their own replicas on Monday morning.
Tony Pulis’s side donned the new kit in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Hull City – a result which left them third in the league table.

The club’s official website revealed that there was a queue of supporters lining up outside the club shop at the Riverside Stadium on Monday to nab a shirt.
However, it seems that there are also plenty of fans who have been left outraged by the price.
The club’s online store lists an adult size limited edition jersey at £75 a pop.
On Twitter plenty of fans expressed their disgust in the expensive price, while others are less than impressed with the design.
