Per , INEOS has sent out an email to their staff warning employees against 'damaging leaks' regarding the company's policy of cost-cutting at Old Trafford. The email was sent to convey that Sir Jim Ratcliffe's company will conduct a restructuring meeting in February. The email read: “Any leaks, whether accidental or intended, can be damaging to colleagues and the wider club."

Earlier this week, reported that INEOS is considering making up to 200 redundancies and a final decision is expected to be made in the next two weeks. According to , INEOS is also planning to reduce the number of club scouts. The Red Devils currently employ 80 scouts worldwide, out of which 30 are full-time employees while 50 are there on a part-time basis. According to the report, the company want to significantly reduce the number.
