According to Marca, Barcelona boss Flick held an emergency meeting with his squad after their shock 2-1 loss to Las Palmas. The result came after a wobble for the Catalans, which has seen them lose to Real Sociedad and draw with Celta Vigo. They are still top of La Liga, but according to the report, Flick analysed the performance against Las Palmas with his team, and subsequently delayed training by an hour.

According to the report, Lewandowski was singled out for a one-to-one conversation on the training pitch. The Poland international failed to score against either Sociedad or Las Palmas, though he did hit the net in the 2-2 draw with Celta. In total, he has scored 15 La Liga goals in 15 games this term and has been central to the club's surge to the top of the table.
