Per journalist Resat Can Ozbudak, former England international and Newcastle United full-back Trippier has been linked with a move to the Turkish Super Lig. The player has reportedly agreed personal terms with Turkish side Eyupspor – which is managed by former Barcelona and Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan – and is now negotiating his existing contract with the Magpies.

Trippier, who recently announced his retirement from international football, has entered the final year of his contract at St. James' Park. Earlier, The Athletic reported that the defender was keen to exit the Premier League club this summer and was linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League.
