It keeps us on our toes somewhat, all these appointments in the boardroom, you never know what’s going to come next.
Francois Modesto has been appointed as the club’s Technical Director, whilst Jose Anigo will come in as Head of International Recruitment.
Both men have already made their mark at the City Ground this summer.
According to Paul Taylor of The Athletic, Modesto played a part in bringing Sabri Lamouchi into the dugout, whilst Anigo was the person who identified Samba Sow and Brice Samba as potential targets for the Reds.
Given how well both Samba, in particular, has settled into life at the City Ground and been lauded by the fans, it’s fair to say that they’ve made a positive impact in the Midlands.
Now they’ve been formally appointed, a host of Forest supporters took to Twitter to discuss and welcome them to the club.
Let’s just hope those appointments with Lamouchi, Samba and Sow weren’t just flash in the pans, or there could be some rather disappointed faces amongst the supporters.
