Paul Heckingbottom has become the latest man to be cast aside by Leeds United after his spell at Elland Road was brought to an end after under four months in charge.
The former Barnsley manager took a risk by moving across Yorkshire and while the squad he left at Oakwell was eventually relegated to League 1, he oversaw a bottom half finish and just four wins at Leeds.
After an array of managers have tried and failed to bring the glory days back to Elland Road, it was hoped that a Yorkshireman, albeit one with a Tykes persuasion, could be what the club needed to get its pride back.
It did not work out that way and some Whites fans came to the end of their tether with the young manager, but others are concerned about the way their club is now drifting without direction again.
