Leeds may not have conducted much transfer activity in the way of incomings but Pawel Cibicki has become the latest player to leave the club.
His exit has come as good news for fans as his time at Elland Road was very much wasted. The striker scored no goals in ten appearances and never seemed up to the standard required.
Because of that, many supporters have chosen to direct their attention on the man who brought him in – Victor Orta – and it is fair to say the Director of Football is not very popular because of that action.

Some fans view Cibicki as one of several disappointing players signed by Orta, and their view is a very fair one considering what the Swede failed to contribute during his time in West Yorkshire.
Others have instead focused their attention on the player himself, rather than Orta, and the 26-year-old hasn’t exactly received glowing reviews from the fanbase.
One supporter claimed that he forgot he was still at the club, possibly because he had been out on loan at ADO Den Haag. One thing for certain is that Cibicki is far from good enough to play a critical role as a back-up striker to Patrick Bamford that the squad currently lacks.

While the player is rightly being criticised it is good that the majority of frustration is being aimed at Orta. He cannot continue to gamble on signings from abroad as Leeds chase promotion, as instead they need players with Championship experience, preferably those who have won promotion to the Premier League before.
The signing of Cibicki isn’t the only reason why Orta should be criticised, however, with one key player continuing the let down the current side.
