After tasting defeat against West Ham on Saturday, United have now lost half of their 26 games this season. With Ten Hag's forwards scoring only four goals from open play in the Premier League this season, their lack of output has drawn a lot of criticism.

"I know [Marcus] Rashford can score a goal, [Rasmus] Hojlund can score a goal, Antony can score a goal, [Alejandro] Garnacho can score a goal, Bruno [Fernandes] can score a goal, Scott McTominay can score a goal."
"We have the scoring abilities in our squad, and also from set plays, but in this moment we are not doing that. They have to stick together and also believe in themselves that they can do it."

For the first time since November 1992, United have failed to score in four consecutive games across all competitions. No club in the Premier League this season has failed to score in as many matches as Ten Hag's squad, having done so in seven of their eighteen games. They have now lost two and drawn one of their past three Premier League away games.
WHAT NEXT FOR MAN UTD?
Ten Hag's men will look forward to ending this miserable year on a positive note as they play twice before 2024, starting with a clash against high-flying Aston Villa on Tuesday, December 26.
