Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has given the green light for a summer transfer to Inter after weeks of negotiations with the Italian club.

As per , Inter wish to bolster their squad and are planning to make three major signings this summer. Inter president Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio have identified a few players, with Hojlund among the prospects the duo are eager to bring to Italy. Inter have proposed an initial loan deal to United with an option to buy for the out of form forward.

Simone Inzaghi's exit has cleared the air around Inter, with the club now pushing to sign Parma head coach Cristian Chivu as his replacement. Along with that, the Nerazzurri have major plans this summer for each of three departments, targeting Nico Paz from Como, Hojlund from United and Giovanni Leoni from Parma. Ausilio has been in talks with Hojlund's camp for several weeks, the report says, and the striker has approved of the move.

Inter have already kicked off their transfer spree with Luis Henrique arriving for a medical to complete his move from Marseille for a reported €25 million (£21m/$28m) fee. Henrique will sign a five-year deal with the Nerazzurri.
