Wrexham had been linked with a move to sign Leeds striker Gelhardt but the 22-year-old is now closing in on a move to Hull City instead, per TalkSPORT's Alex Crook. The forward is undergoing a medical ahead of a loan move, with the Championship club having seemingly beaten the Welsh side to the punch.

Wrexham, per reports, are willing to spend this month as they look to secure promotion to the Championship. Phil Parkinson's side are currently third in League One, two points behind leaders Birmingham City. They have somewhat struggled to find a truly prolific centre-forward, however, with their top scorer being Elliott Lee, with six goals.
