West Ham United will not be signing Moussa Wague from Barcelona this month, per Guardian journalist Jacob Steinberg.The club had been linked with a move for the right-back and Steinberg reported earlier on Friday that the Hammers were trying to bring Wague into the club.[ad_pod ]However, he has now poured cold water on the possibility of a deal.He tweeted a simple five-word message, insisting that the club will not be bringing Wague into the London Stadium.
As it is, West Ham continue to attempt to do a deal to sign Jarrod Bowen from Hull City.
Sources have confirmed to Football FanCast that the club are in talks with the winger and are prepared to go the extra mile to make a transfer happen.
